Gold prices on Friday rose by Rs 441 to Rs 48,530 per 10 grams in the national capital. According to HDFC Securities, its price in the previous session was Rs 48,089 per 10 grams. Talking about silver, during this period silver gained Rs 1,148 and it became Rs 71,432 per kg. It had closed at Rs 70,284 per kg in the previous trading session. In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,896 an ounce while silver was at $ 28.15 an ounce.

Diamond exports expected to grow by 20 percent: CRISIL The Indian diamond industry is expected to grow exports by 20 percent this year due to improvement in the US and China markets. Rating agency Crisil said that 75 percent of the polished diamonds exported from India go to the US and China.
