Weather Update: Weather will change in many states of the country, IMD has issued this alert

Good news has come for the people amidst the heat in northern states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of a big change in the weather today, due to which people are expected to get relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be hailstorms along with storm and rain in many states of the country today. 

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, it has predicted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Central Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. Strong winds may blow in these states of the country during this period. 

According to the Meteorological Department, today there may be thunderstorms with lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh. Hail may also fall in these states of the country. 

The Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. A drop in temperature may be seen due to rain.
