Owaisi's stance on the government, says 'Welcome to New India, criminals are getting reward'

Hyderabad: There has been a protest against the appointment of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das as the President of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Asaduddin Owaisi, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and MP from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, has taunted the matter saying that welcome to New India, where criminal acts are honored.

Owaisi further said that the apex court had termed the demolition of Babri Masjid as a national shame. In the Ram temple case, the Supreme Court ordered the formation of a trust, which has been formed by the government. The chairman of this trust has been made such a person who is accused of demolishing the Babri Masjid. Meanwhile, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, President of Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has said that the grand Ram temple is going to be built in Ayodhya and if more land is required for its construction, more land can be taken.

He said that a letter will be sent to the UP government for this. Mahant Gopal Das said that all the Mahatmas belonging to the Ram Janmabhoomi have appointed him as the President of the Ram Mandir Trust. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das said that the obligation that has been given, they will fulfill that obligation with full devotion.
