Bihar: BJP Spokesperson for state Azfar Shashmi shot by miscreants in broad daylight

Bihar : According to the information received, BJP Spokesperson Dr Azfar Shashmi was allegedly shot on Wednesday (January 27) by miscreants near Munger’s Jamalpur.

The attackers shot at BJP Bihar’s Unit spokesperson Shashmi near Evening College in Munger.

Shashmi, who is a professor, was shot at twice when he reached the college campus by unidentified persons. Thereafter, Mr. Shashmi was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Later, State BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal said he himself spoke to the Director General of Police about the incident and has demanded to arrests the miscreants as soon as possible.

“He is currently undergoing treatment. His statement has been recorded, he had dispute with another professor of the college whom we have arrested, he will be questioned,” the Munger Superintendent of Police told the media.
