BJP leader Nilesh Rane takes a dig a MLA Rohit Pawar for allegedly inciting the farmers against Farm Laws

Mumbai: BJP leader Nilesh Rane has alleged that NCP MLA Rohit Pawar is trying to incite farmers against the Center’s Agricultural laws. Nilesh Rane tweeted that Pawar was trying to provoke the farmers by referring to the farms’ laws.

He wrote, “If you want to see what fake is, read this. The Rohit Pawar who owns a agro company is telling the farmers the benefits of contract farming, is the same person who has been provoking farmers against the Center’s Farm laws”.

Earlier Rohit Pawar had said that the central government was failing to understand the farmers.

Rane shared a photo of a flex belonging to Baramati Agro owned by Pawar which explained the benefits of contract farming, year-round guaranteed purchase, supply of babycorn seeds and chilli seedlings to the farmer on credit, zero percent transport, expert guidance for various crops, among others.

Meanwhile, thousands of farmers from across Maharashtra reached Mumbai on Sunday evening to participate in a joint sit-in at Azad Maidan on Monday against the Centre’s three new farm laws. The farmers from the Left-affiliated All-India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) and other farm outfits had begun their 180-km march from Nashik district.
