India vs NZ : India Announced ODI Team against New Zealand, 'This' Player will Replace Shikhar Dhawan

NP News 24 : New Delhi : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced Team India for the five-match T20 International series to be played on New Zealand tour and the three-match ODI series.

The Indian T20 International team has included Sanju Samson as an opener for Shikhar Dhawan’s replacement, while Prithvi Shaw has been included in the ODI squad as an option for the left-handed batsman. Indian team had already announced the squad for the T20 International series. But Sanju Samson has been included in the team as a replacement of Shikhar Dhawan.

Injured Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the series against New Zealand. The committee has included Sanju Samson as Dhawan’s replacement for the T20 squad. At the same time, Prithvi Shaw has got an opportunity to replace the injured Shikhar Dhawan in the ODI team.

Shaw will be playing with senior team after one year. He had previously suffered a heel injury. After this, 8 months of doping ban was imposed on Shaw. The first T20 International between India and New Zealand will be played in Auckland on Friday.
