The fans went into a frenzy after a movie was announced in the crazy combination of Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh. The film which is titled Fighter is expected to go on floors soon.
Vijay Deverakonda was reluctant to do a movie with Puri because of his flop streak but the dynamics changed after the blockbuster success of iSmart Shankar. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda’s career is going through a slump after the flop result of his much-hyped Dear Comrade. If buzz has to be believed then Vijay approached Puri himself and asked him to script a film for him in their combo. And the result was Fighter got announced.
But now fresh gossips are making rounds that Vijay isn’t too happy with Fighter’s script and has asked Puri to come up with another version. Puri is right now in Goa giving final touches to the script which he hopes will be approved by the Taxi Driver star.
Vijay Deverakonda is a tough nut to crack and Puri also has a lot of ego issues. We have to wait and see if Vijay will give a go-ahead nod to Puri’s revised version or Puri will just drop the project like he has done many times in the past.
