Brother tries to grab sister's land, gets 3-yr RI

Hyderabad: A local court in Malkajgiri convicted two brothers, sister and mother to undergo three years rigorous imprisonment and slapped a fine amount of Rs 10,000 for threatening to occupy her plot by creating fake documents.

The case was initially booked on March 11, 2015, with the Neredmet police following a complaint from Aruna Jyothi, 40, in which stated that in 1986 her father gifted her a plot which was on her name legally, following her father’s death, her two brothers Sarvesh Yadav, Naga Sai Yadav, mother Kalavanti, and sister Sridevi made fake documents but the original documents was with victim’s mother.

 The victim was abused and threatened with dire consequences, said Mahesh Bhagwat Commissioner of police Rachakonda.

The Malkajgiri court on Tuesday convicted Sarvesh Yadav, Naga Sai Yadav, Kalavanti, and Sridevi with three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 10,000 each.
