UP: Gunfight between groups claims nine lives

UP: A gunfight which broke out between two groups over property dispute resulted in the death of nine persons. Another 20 persons received injuries.

According to the report published in Hindustan Times

, this incident took place in Sonbhadra District of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

During the fight, two groups not only used country made pistols but also attacked each other with sharp weapons.

Initially, the injured persons were taken to a local hospital. Later, they were shifted to District hospital.

After the incident, District magistrate Ankit Agrawal, Superintendent of Police Salman Taj Patil and police personnel reached the spot.
