First phase towards English medium schools in force from today !

The Ongoing row over the Andhra Pradesh government’s bid to convert all government schools into English medium from the next academic year turned personal recently, after Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy aimed taunts at M Venkaiah Naidu and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Officials have made all arrangements for the inauguration of the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s prestigious Nadu-Nedu program.

As per the scheme, 15 thousand 715 schools will be developed in the first phase of the program today.

Whatever said and done, Data does suggest that for many people, ensuring an English medium education for their children is important. As per a survey by the Azim Premji Foundation in four states, among parents who preferred to send their children to private schools, English medium education was the second most important reason (18 percent) for their choice.
