R.I.P Nayini Narasimha Reddy

Former Home Minister and TRS senior leader Nayini Narasimha Reddy passed away on Wednesday midnight. The 80-year-old was suffering from pneumonia and other respiratory related problems. He was hospitalised for several days and breathed his last while undergoing treatment.

Just hours before Nayini Narasimha Reddy breathed his last, Telangana CM KCR visited him.

Nayini hailed from Nalgonda district and started his political career as a labour union leader. He has relentlessly worked for the welfare of labourers. He was also an ardent Telangana supporter and took part in both the Telangana agitations. All through his life who stood for labourers welfare and Ram Manohar Lohia socialist ideals.

He has won as an MLA several times and even served as MLC once. He worked as Minister in YS Rajashekar Reddy cabinet, while TRS was an ally of Congress. He reached the peak of his political career when he became a Home Minister of Telangana. He will be remembered in the history as the first Home Minister of Telangana.
