Anjeer Kheer

To make this delicious Anjeer Kheer, you just need some milk, rice, almonds, anjeer, sugar, ghee and saffron. 1 litre milk

1 tablespoon ghee

10 almonds

4 tablespoon rice

4 strand saffron

12 dried figs

5 tablespoon sugar

How to make Anjeer Kheer

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan. Now add sliced almonds and saute for a minute. Now add washed rice and saute them for another two minutes.

Step 2

Now add milk to the pan. Also soak saffron in 1-2 tbsp water and add it to the pan as well. Keep the flame medium and let the milk come to a boil.

Step 3

Roughly chop the anjeer and soak them in water for some time. Now drain the water and add the anjeer to a blender. Add 2-3 tbsp water and blend to form a paste.

Step 4

Now add the anjeer paste to the milk and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps in it. Let the mixture simmer on low flame for 10 minutes. Now add sugar and mix well. Keep stirring in between.

Step 5

Garnish the Anjeer Kheer with chopped nuts or anjeer and serve.
