INGREDIENTS
1/2 teaspoon green cardamom
250 gm flour
150 gm paneer
1 cup ghee
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon milk
How to make Chanar Bara
Step 1
To start with this enticing dish, first, mash paneer and keep aside. Next, in a small bowl, combine together 1/2 tbsp ghee, flour and milk. Stir well to avoid lumps. You should obtain a thin batter, add more milk if required.
Step 2
Now, stir in the mashed paneer in this batter. Mix thoroughly. Also, add cardamom powder and stir very well to mix.
Step 3
In another bowl, mix sugar and water together to prepare sugar syrup of thin consistency.
Step 4
Take a wok, keep it on medium flame and heat ghee in it. Give batter any shape desired and deep fry by dropping a spoonful in the wok. Let it turn golden brown in colour.
Step 5
Take the sugar syrup and dip the fried batter in it for approx two hours. Take out and sprinkle some sugar on top. Your Chanar Bara is ready to serve.
