1 kilograms bottle gourd
1 1/2 litre full cream milk
1 cup ghee
6 teaspoon sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup almond flour
How to make Lauki Halwa
To prepare this delicious dessert, peel the bottle gourd or lauki and wash very well. Then grate it using a grater in a large bowl. Once done, squeeze the extra water.
Next, put a large non-stick pan over medium flame and melt ghee in it. Once it's melted, add the grated lauki and let it fry for 10 minutes.
On the other hand, put a large bowl on medium flame and boil milk in it.
By now, you can smell the aroma of ghee. Add the boiled milk along with cream in the non-stick pan of frying lauki. Stir to mix well.
Let the halwa cook on low to medium flame and stir often so it doesn't stick to the bottom.
Cook until the halwa turns thick.
Now, add sugar in the pan and mix once again. Let the mixture cook for 5 minutes and then add almond flour/powder in the pan, and mix once again. Cook for a minute and then serve hot!
