Sprouts Salad
If you are someone who is always on the lookout for healthy yet tasty recipes, then this Sprouts Salad is perfect for you. Made with sprouted moong dal, kala chana, cucumber, tomato, onion and bell pepper, this delicious recipe is a wholesome meal in itself. You can either have it as a salad with your meals or just have it as a standalone snack.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup boiled sprouted moong
1/2 cup sprouted kala chana
1 medium cucumber
1 medium tomato
1/2 small onion
1 small yellow bell pepper
0 salt as required
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
0 juice of 1 lemon as required
How to make Sprouts Salad
Step 1
Make sure you soak the moong dal and kala chana for 1-2 days until sprouted well. Next, either boil or steam the sprouts to make them softer. Once done, add them to a big bowl.
Step 2
Now peel and chop the vegetables. Finely dice cucumber, tomato, onion and bell pepper. Add the veggies to the sprout bowl. Give them a mix.
Step 3
Add salt, black pepper powder and lemon juice to the sprouts. Mix well and your Sprouts Salad is ready to be served.
