How to peel and cut the pineapple

  • Firstly chop the top and bottom part of the pineapple to have two flat bases.
  • Now start cutting the hard outer covering from top to the bottom. Keep a steady hand as the process might be uneven. Make sure you cut closely and avoid any fruit wastage.
  • Once you get rid of the covering, you will notice that the fruit has only some black spots left now.
  • Scoop out the black spots with a knife one by one. Move your hand in a circular direction and take out the black spots. Do this step carefully without cutting out a major chunk of the fruit.
  • Now all you need to do is chop the pineapple into pieces. You can either cut pineapple discs by cutting out circular pieces or chop them into cubes.
