TF Recommends: Food/dining options to try this weekend

Hello, weekend! We are back with our list of dining out/ food home delivery recommendations for you to explore. For those who do not want to cook this weekend, here are our top suggestions.

Khan Chacha, Delhi/NCR: Khan Chacha needs no introduction in Delhi/NCR. The iconic place has been serving kebabs and rolls since 1972 and it has its own fan following.

While Delhi has several places that specialise in all kinds of rolls but this one is unique because the rumali in which the rolls are wrapped is neither rubbery nor oil dripping and the rolls here seem wholesome and not loaded with too much fat or tangy-preservative loaded mayo or chutney. They also have some very good options for vegetarians like Soya Tikka Roll, Aloo Tikka Roll, Veg Hariyali Roll and Paneer Tikka Roll. We would recommend Mutton Seekh Roll, Chicken Malai Roll and Chicken Spicy Roll for non-vegetarians.

Delicut, Delhi/NCR: For those looking for exotic dishes in the comfort of their home, Delicut has a wide range of options. Delicut offers ready-to-eat meals which are made with natural ingredients, have no added colours or preservatives and are hygienically prepared and packaged. The recipes are by top chefs and hence the food is delicious! We would recommend Mutton Angara Seekh Kebab, Chicken Mushroom Cheese Cigar, Thai Chilli Fish, Butter Garlic Prawns, Sweet Potato Fingers and Hara Bhara Kebab.

Hard Rock Cafe, Delhi/NCR: One of the most happening places in Delhi/NCR- Hard Rock Cafe represents true American-style dining. Spread over several floors, the Connaught Place outlet is spacious and full of party vibes. The place is vibrant and has music which resonates with fun. The good thing is, the music is not painfully loud and one can easily have conversations without causing pain to one's vocal cords! The staff is quick and attentive and the food is definitely satiating. Like a typical American diner, this place serves large portions. We would recommend their Sliders, Coffee Liquors, Fajitas, Steak and Smash Burgers and Salad Bowls. Don't miss out on their Chicken Wings and Pasta as well.

Madam Chutney, Delhi/NCR: A chat lover's paradise, Madam Chutney is all things tangy, crunchy and delectable. This Chittaranjan Park eating joint has warm cosy interiors with huge windows and elegant seating arrangements. For those who think that places offering street food as a dominant part of their cuisine are loud, crammed and desi, Madam Chutney is a surprise. This chic place offers local food but with a gourmet makeover. From presentation to taste, everything is top-notch here. We would recommend Banarasi Tamatar Chaat, Kale Palak Patta Chaat, Gol Gappa Shots, Dahi Bhalla, Kashmiri Kaladi Cheese Kulcha, Chilli Cheese Toast, Mini Pizza Samosa and Handi Champaran Paneer Platter.

Bombay Boy in Delhi: Are you craving authentic Bombay signature street foods in the comfort of your home? If yes, then you have all the reasons to trust Nishit Dalal, a satellite engineer by profession and a foodie and chef at heart, who has recently given the shape of a cloud kitchen to his brainchild, ‘Bombay Boy in Delhi’. Till date, Nishit used to do pop-ups and celebrate the essence of Bombay (Mumbai) via his signature treats, and the same is now available for Delhi/NCR to try in the comfort of home. The must-try items from the elaborate menu include Butter Black Pav Bhaji, Irani Keema Pav, Dabeli, Misal Pav, Bombay Sandwich, Jam Sandwich, and more. Also, you can always ask Nishit for some extra butter for that extra kick on the weekend!

Home Restaurant and Bar: For those who love to enjoy summer weekend evenings over refreshing cocktails, Home Restaurant and Bar is the place to be, as their head mixologist, Santanu Chanda along with his team has crafted 10 new signature cocktails including 16th Century, which is rich and floral in taste and is made by infusing gin along with lavender, hung curd, citrus, and is topped with saffron. According to Santanu, all the cocktails are infused with summer ingredients to make it a refreshing and soothing experience. Santanu, who loves to experiment has this time de-constructed sushi in the form of a cocktail and is called Sabilet, which has umami and citrus notes and uses pisco, gin, wasabi, yuzu, and palm sugar and is topped with miniature sushi too. Apart from these, you can also try Dark Truth, Final Whisper, Nostalgia, Night Shade and more.

The Hawking St, Noida: It is rare to find a place where every dish strikes a unique connection with your soul. And we found it in The Hawking St. Its plush interiors give a cafe-like feel but with a lot of vibrancy and colour added to it. The atmosphere is casual and cool and the staff is quick and efficient. And the food! It is definitely what made us the happiest. The food here invokes nostalgia. Those who have tried Kolkata street food are definitely going to love this place. It has some handpicked street foods from across the country. Some dishes that floored us completely included- Chicken Chop, Fish Kabiraji, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Mughlai Paratha, Fish Fry and Chilli Chicken. We are sure the rest of the dishes match the standard as well. Noida people, we highly recommend it.

Keventers, Delhi/NCR: Iconic brand Keventers has been serving milkshakes since 1925. It has survived the onslaught of time and changing trends due to its ability to constantly reinvent itself. Recently it has launched thick shakes. The all-new product line has 8 shake flavours that include Chocolate Oreo Thick Shake, Nutella Thick Shake, Chocolate Hazelnut Thick Shake, Choco Chip Thick Shake, Exotic Mango Thick Shake, Bubblegum Thick Shake, Kesar Badam Thick Shake and Strawberry Special Thick Shake.
