Deloitte Employee Fired Over LinkedIn Post Praising Hitler

Deloitte has fired and distanced itself from the opinions of a former employee, who in a now-deleted LinkedIn post, praised genocidal German dictator Adolf Hitler. Screenshots of the controversial counterview reveal that Neerabh Mehrotra, an associate director of Risk Advisory at Deloitte according to his job title, wrote about the “imperative qualities” of the 20th century autocrat.

“Recently I picked up a book on Adolf Hitler ‘The Dark Charisma of Adolf Hitler’ by Laurence Rees. I always wanted to read about Hitler and the World War II and this book gave me a fair understanding about these [sic] topic,” read the LinkedIn activity titled ‘Friday Inspiration’.

Mehrotra’s post acknowledged that a Google search about the Nazi leader would yield references to his authoritarian leadership, before listing his own takeaways — seemingly preachable qualities that, for him, made Hitler a “charismatic visionary, magnetic speaker, extremely confident, very intellectual and massive action taker”.

The aspiring LinkedIn influencer went on to share the moral: “Everyone of this planet earth has some good and some not so good qualities. It is totally on us how we use these qualities to influence our own and others life around us.” Then, he concluded the post by using the Nazi salute, commonly referred to as the Hitler salute, and saying 'Heil Hitler!'"

Although Mehrotra has now deleted the LinkedIn post along with his profile, the Hitler apologist's attempts to cover his tracks failed as social media users quickly ratted him out.
of the disturbing content quickly circulated elsewhere on social media, including on Twitter, where the views ignited massive backlash.

"Of course, so what if he gassed to death lakhs upon lakhs of small children, women and men. We all must 'Heil Hitler' as he was so charismatic, intellectual and massive-action taker," read a tweet.

The disgraced senior-level employee was sacked by Deloitte India, a company spokesperson confirmed.

“The views on social media expressed by the individual, who joined our organisation last month, are not aligned with our shared values and violate our internal policies. This individual no longer works for Deloitte India,” they said in a press statement.
