Exclusive! Is 777 Charlie Director's Next With Bollywood Actor John Abraham?

Director of the National Award-winning Kannada film 777 Charlie, Kiranraj K and popular Bollywood actor John Abraham share one thing in common. It is their unconditional love for animals, especially dogs!

While John Abraham has adopted dogs apart from his association with several NGOs for various social causes, Kiranraj, a passionate filmmaker, skilfully presented the emotions of man's best friend on screen in the film

777 Charlie, which had a brilliant performance by Rakshit Shetty.

When such is the case, what would transpire between the two when they meet in person? Are the two working on a film based on animals or something more? Well, the director in an exclusive interview with Times Now shares it all.

Invitation by John Abraham
“When the trailer of our movie 777 Charlie was released, I kept getting calls from an unknown number. Later, when I checked it on the phone app, it revealed the name of John Abraham. I called him back in no time. He appreciated our work and the whole idea. It was he who shared the trailer of 777 Charlie
on his social media accounts asking everyone to watch it without fail,” says Kiranraj, further revealing that the actor called him again after the movie was released and expressed his joy while praising their efforts in making the movie with a dog.

About his latest meeting, Kiranraj shares that John Abraham rang him up asking if he could meet him for a discussion!

The Discussion
As told by the director, John Abraham enquired about the entire making process of 777 Charlie
.

“When John asked me if we could meet, he enquired whether I was currently committed to any of my ongoing projects. With the conversation that happened, it was clear that he wanted to know how I was able to pull off a film like 777 Charlie. Ninety per cent of our conversation was only about 777 Charlie and its entire making process,” Kiranraj said.

Whether the rest of the 10 per cent was about the possibilities of directing a film for John Abraham involving animals, pet dogs and so on shortly, the director chuckled while neither confirming nor denying the same!

Down To Earth
Though John Abraham is the Bollywood actor whom the director met in person, he shared that the actor is so down to earth.

“After watching the movie, John was crying like a baby. He shared that I was blessed since I have a special connection with the pet dog and that I could communicate with the animal so well which resulted in the making of 777 Charlie which moved many animal lovers. What more can a filmmaker ever ask for than such appreciation? They are more than any Awards,” he concludes.
