Karan Johar-Kartik Aaryan Bond In Bengaluru

The thawing in the ice began last year when Karan Johar announced a project with Kartik Aaryan. The two had fallen out over the script of Dostana 2 which Tarun Mansukhani was supposed to direct for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.


The two Ks, Kartik and Karan patched up last year. And now just yesterday (April 7) in Bengaluru when the two attended an event, Karan and Kartik bonded even better.

A source clued into this, the newest Dostana in Filmistan informs, “Kartik and Karan were in Bengaluru for an event. They got talking and soon the conversation got progressively genial. Soon the two were so into their conversation that they decided to travel back together from Bengaluru to Mumbai.”


Kartik and Karan are working together, but only as producer and actor. Kartik Aaryan is doing a film to be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films. The proposed project, a war film, will be directed by Sandeep Modi who recently gathered some critical acclaim for his series The Night Manager on Disney-Hotstar.

This would be Kartik’s second film in a row based on true events after Chandu Champion.
