Acknowledging the allure of lavish sets and larger-than-life visuals, Koirala spoke about the importance of balancing spectacle with the intimate details that breathe life into each scene. She highlighted Bhansali's remarkable ability to maintain a laser-sharp focus on both grandeur and character intricacies, ensuring that the essence of each scene is preserved in Heeramandi
and told Zoom, "What happens is when you get carried away with the grandeur and lavishness and the hugeness then there's a possibility that you might overlook the small things which gives life to the scene. That sensitivity, those little sparks here and there because your focus is all over chadak, dhadak, bhadak fir aap shayad miss out karjaoge woh moment lekin kya hai na SLB aise director hai, jitna woh dhyan aapke grandeur mein dete hai utna hi focus woh small small details pe dete hai, woh moments pe dete hai woh har ek cheez mein uska laser sharp focus rehta hai. Heeramandi mein toh bilkul aisa nahi laga ki grandeur has overtaken the sensitivity or the minute spark of life. "

(That's a very good question. What happens is when you get carried away with the grandeur and lavishness, there's a possibility that you might overlook the small things that give life to the scene. That sensitivity, those little sparks here and there can be missed because your focus is all over the place, caught up in the spectacle. But you know, SLB is such a director, as much attention as he gives to grandeur, he focuses equally on small details, on moments, on every little thing, his focus is laser-sharp. In Heeramandi
, it never felt like the grandeur had overtaken the sensitivity or the minute spark of life.)"

All of them are brilliant actors. So is Shermin. Everybody was on the same shoot, everybody wanted to excel. It was a great opportunity for all the artists. We are hungry artists and we want to excel. We want to work hard we want to put our best foot forward. Woh energy Jo thi ki humko kaam karna hai no matter kitne bhi retake lelo kitne baje bhi ho, humein achchha kaam karna hai. Mujhe lagta hai sabne jaan dali hai isme, sabko bohot ee maza aaya. Humein bohot bohot bohot achchha laga iss kalakaron ke sath kaam karte hue. Koi nakhra nahi, sab zameen pe hai, apna kaam karrha hai, sabne bohot mehnat ki. Hum sath mein Delhi gaye the, kaafi maza kiye, ek undercurrent sisterhood ka jo environment hai ki hum ek dusre ke liye thapri bajate hai ek dusre ko clap karte hai, encourage karte hai aur complements dete hai, toh bohot ee achchha and bohot ee sweet sisterhood raha hamara. (The energy was such that we had to work, no matter how many retakes or what time it was, we had to do good work. I think everyone has put their heart into it, everyone enjoyed it a lot. We felt very, very good working with these artists. There were no tantrums, everyone is grounded, doing their work, everyone worked very hard. We went to Delhi together, had a lot of fun, there was an underlying sisterhood environment where we would applaud each other, encourage each other, and give compliments, so our sisterhood was very good and sweet.)
