Meenaakshi Chaudhary To Play Female Lead In Venkatesh's Next

Meenaakshi Chaudhary has been on a signing spree! The actress, who is sharing screen space opposite Thalapathy Vijay in The Greatest of All Time and Varun Tej in Matka, is set to work with actor Venkatesh next.

We have reliably learnt that the Guntur Kaaram star has been roped in as one of the leading ladies in Venky’s upcoming film to be directed by Anil Ravipudi.

The film is a triangular crime entertainer in which Venky plays an ex-cop who is torn between his former girlfriend and wife.

Why Meenaakshi Picked The Role
According to sources, when Meenaakshi was approached for the part in the film she found her role to be engaging. Moreover, sources say that the triangular crime drama genre is an interesting and niche genre and that the actress found it to be fascinating.

“Meenaakshi is constantly looking to be a part of interesting genres. Be it her debut film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu, a crime drama, or her upcoming film Lucky Baskhar, a heist-thriller starring Dulquer Salmaan, her quest for new roles and genres are unwavering. Her film with Venkatesh is a step in that direction," informs the source.

On The Lookout For A Second Heroine

Meanwhile, the film’s director Anil Ravipudi is looking for another leading lady. The pre-production work is in full swing, and if all goes well, the film may go on floors in a couple of months.
