Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe revealed with hybrid technology

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the facelift of the GLC Coupe with mild hybrid and plug in hybrid technology. The GLC Coupe is the sportier version of the regular GLC SUV. According to the company the The 2024 GLC Coupe will be arriving in US dealerships later in 2023.


This is a facelift version of the GLC Coupe and it comes equipped with 48-volt mild hybrid technology and an integrated starter-generator for energy regeneration and extra boost.

It retains its off-road capabilities as well, the company states that this car is capable of handling any terrain. It comes with sports suspension as standard and optional 4.5 degree rear axle steering and AIRMATIC air suspension in the Technology package which works in tandem with 4MATIC drive system and 360-degree camera for enhanced driving and off-roading experience. The plug-in hybrid version of the car also sports an all-electric off-road mode.

The 2024 GLC Coupe has been updated with the MBUX infotainment system along with the latest generation of software and hardware, the company has stated that it has worked to make this system even more intuitive to enhance user experience.

The new MBUX system in the GLC Coupe is a combination of a 12.3 inch driver display and a 11.9-inch central display. It also has an optional 710 watt 15 speaker Burmister surround sound system.

The GLC Coupe houses an electric powertrain along with an internal combustion engine. It is laden with an EV only mode as well with a WLTP range of 100 km. The mild hybrid version of the car will be offered in four variants GLC200 4MATIC, GLC300 4MATIC, GLC 220d 4MATIC and GLC 300d 4MATIC. The plug-in hybrid version of the car will be offered in three variants GLC 3003 4MATIC, GLC 400e 4MATIC and GLC 300de 4MATIC.

It will also be offered in an AMG Line package with 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels.
