Protesting Tamil Nadu Farmers Climb Mobile Tower in Delhi, Demanding Profitable Prices For Crops| VIDEO

New Delhi: Farmers from Tamil Nadu climbed atop mobile tower on Wednesday as they protest protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar demanding profitable prices, pension and insurance.

In a 23-second video shared by news agency ANI, a group of farmers can be seen demonstrating from the top of a mobile tower to draw attention to their demands.




A protesting farmer told news agency PTI, “We demand two-time profitable prices of the crops, pension of Rs 5,000 to farmers, individual insurance, and also interlinking of all rivers in India.” He claimed that 100 people have come from Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu farmers had also come to the national capital in 2017 to protest and press for their demands.
