Shah Rukh Khan Returns As Don, Move Over Ranveer Singh

It seems Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback as Don! But hold on to your horses, it is not exactly what you think. There are already reports doing the round that Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan are coming together for the first time on an action-packed thriller titled King. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand.

Now there is a fresh update.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, according to insiders, Shah Rukh Khan is set to portray a Don with nuanced grey shades in the upcoming film King. Khan, attuned to audience preferences, recognises the allure of grey characters. Described as his passion project, King is a collaborative effort with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh, crafting a character brimming with attitude, swag, and complexity.

“Shah Rukh Khan is making films for the audience and is well aware about their urge to see him in shades of grey. King is his passion project and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh. They have collectively carved a very cool full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in King,” the source told Pinkvilla.

The insider also mentioned that in King, Shah Rukh Khan will adopt a long-haired look complemented by a subtle beard, a surprise for audiences when the film begins production in September this year. With character design finalised, Siddharth Anand focuses on action sequences alongside international stunt teams. Sujoy Ghosh works on dialogues, while SRK actively participates in creative aspects and trains with Suhana on modern action scenes. Fans can expect King to be a rewarding experience, making the wait worthwhile.
