The picture features the actors rehearsing a scene, in what is assumed to be a college cafeteria. While Rukmini looks elegant, Sivakarthikeyan sports a bearded-look. Interestingly, he also seems to have an injury on his forehead.

Reports doing the rounds suggest that the makers have locked Deepavali as the release date of the film. However, official confirmation in this regard is awaited.

Acting coach Rajesh Balachandiren on SK 23

Acting coach Rajesh Balachandiren, who is currently helping Sivakarthikeyan train for the film, said that SK 23 is different from Sivakarthikeyan’s film Amaran.

Talking to a media portal, he said, “As acting coaches, all we can do is aid talented actors with the subtle aspects of their performances that are necessary for the screenplay. There is not much I can say about SK 23. All I can tell is that Sivakarthikeyan's performance will seem brand-new and that the screenplay is unique, but I am not allowed to disclose anything about it. It is different from Amaran
for sure.”

Produced by Prasad N.V, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, editor A. Sreekar Prasad and music director Anirudh Ravichander.
