Jo gift, aap deserve nhi karte ho, woh gift ki tarah nhi leni chahiye. Agar is baat se, aap bade hue ho, aur aapko koi gift bhej raha hai aur fancy hai, aap kyu hi accept karoge. If you're clear about this, bohot saarein choices waha pe clear hojate hai. Wahi pe cheezein band hojati hai. "

She further added, "Sometimes you're just plain lucky. But sometimes else someone can be in that situation and you might not be lucky. So many people come to take pictures with the actors. Not all actors who have been seen with people from the underworld in pictures, are linked to them. Sometimes, it is a coincidence. It’s misleading to say that the entire film industry has links to the underworld. That’s not true."

Moving forward, the duo emphasised that being a public figure doesn't require commenting on every national issue without adequate knowledge about it.

Jaideep told Zoom, "Just because you are a public figure it’s not necessary for you to comment on everything that happens in the country when you don’t have full knowledge. We are also humans. Actors are very vulnerable to threats. Agar aapki ek food choice ke uppar log aapko troll kar sakte hai, toh agar aapne kisi serious baat pe kuch bol diya, phir toh woh log pathar phek denge. Agar aap chahte wala honest rahe, us honesty ki bhi aapko kadar karni padegi. (People judge us so much and if we say something that some people don’t agree with, they might physically attack us for it.)

Sonali agreed with Jaideep and shared, "When I was diagnosed with cancer, I decided to open up about it because I realised it was still such a taboo subject. I had knowledge about it so I spoke about it.
