These Indian Languages are oldest in the world; check other languages from the list

New Delhi: Tamil and Sanskrit are considered to be one of the oldest languages in the world. The other languages that are considered to be oldest in the world are Italian, Korean, Farsi, Hebrew, Aramaic, Chinese, Greek, Egyptian.

Sanskrit, considered to be the second oldest language in the world, is the language of Jainism, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

In India, Sanskrit is used in prayers, ancient scriptures and music.

According to a ToI report, Egyptian is the oldest language known while Sanskrit is the second oldest language in the world.

Tamil language’s traces can be found in 300 BC. It is spoken in Tamil Nadu and is one of the official languages in Singapore and Sri Lanka.

The Farsi language originated around 500 BC. It is spoken by the Persian community and is also used by people in Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.

Chinese language dates back to 1250 BC.

Korean language is also one of the language and its history dates back to thousands of years ago. It is used in North and South Korea.

According to a a report by the World Population Review (WPR), India is the seventh oldest country in the world.

The WPR report stated Iran is considered as the oldest country in the world. The Iran's government was founded in 3200 BCE, according to a report.
