VIDEO: Stone Pelting In Arunachal Pradesh During Nomination Papers Scrutiny, Longding SP Injured

Itanagar: Longding Superintendent of Police (SP) was injured in a stone pelting incident in Arunachal Pradesh's Longding on Thursday during the scrutiny of nomination papers of contesting candidates, said Chukhu Apa, IGP, Arunachal Pradesh.

The name of the Longding SP injured in the stone pelting is Dekio Gumja, IANS reported.


"Violence broke out at the office of Longding Deputy Commissioner. The situation is now under control and adequate security personnel have been deployed. Five people have ben detained so far," said Chukhu Apa, IGP, Arunachal Pradesh, ANI reported.
