Vijayawada: Visakhapatnam constitute is one of the 175 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Currently, the parliamentary constituency is represented by TDP leader, Kesineni Srinivas.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections on 16 March. India will go to polls in seven phases starting April 19 and the counting of votes will be done on June 4.

The sitting Member of Parliament (MP) was Kesineni Srinivas. In this election, Kesineni Srinivas secured 5,75,498 votes, while the runner-up candidate, Prasad V. Potluri, received 5,66,772 votes. The victory margin between the winner and the runner-up was 8,726 votes. The male electors were 6,75,283 and the female electors were 6,87,372.
