Woman Quits Job At LinkedIn To Travel The World Full-Time

We all find ourselves stuck in the 9 to 5 corporate job while our heart is somewhere else. A woman who quit her job at LinkedIn to travel the world full-time.

Aakanksha Monga took to Twitter to share how her journey of full-time travelling has been after quitting her job a year ago.

She said, "I quit my job at LinkedIn.

Last year, on this very date. When I left, I promised to give myself 1 year to focus on my passion and travel the world full time. When I left I was burnt out, had 250k followers on IG, worked alone. Want to know how it’s going now? "

Monga added, "1 year later: 🙋🏼♀️250K TO 700K+ community 🌎 Traveled across 12 countries (8 of them solo!) 👏Built a team of 6 people, building TravelAMore! 🎥Shot & posted 300+ videos💰Worked with 30+ brands 😔Still burn out sometimes 😩longer work hours. But I followed my truth."

In another tweet, she said, "For me, travel is about immersing yourself in new cultures & experiences, & I'm always excited to discover the next hidden gem."

Monga worked as a Creator Manager Associate at LinkedIn for six months before quitting the job.

Monga's tweet has gone viral on the microblogging platform, garnering more than 1.98 lakh views. Netizens were inspired by her journey.
