Woman booked for submitting forged documents for bailing accused

Bhopal: On Thursday, an unidentified woman was booked by MP nagar police for submitting forged documents before the district court in order to furnish the bail-bond formalities of an arrested criminal. The woman was charged with fraud and forgery a case was registered.

Investigation officer SI Lovesh Kumar said that an unidentified woman appeared before a local court in Bhopal to submit bail-bond formalities of an accused on January 29.

She submitted documents of land record which she took out online. During verification, the documents were found to be forged, after which the judge ordered the police to register an FIR against the woman.

A court employee Sudhir Chourasiya filed a complaint with MP Nagar police on the direction of the court, following which a case was registered. The woman had posed to be a Jabalpur based person named Girijabai. Further investigations were on.
