2 Karnataka high court judges take oath

BENGALURU: Justices Ramachandra Dattatray Huddar and Venkatesh Naik Thavaryanaik took oath as additional judges of the Karnataka high court on Tuesday.

Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered oath of office to the new judges who are from judicial service.

Justice Huddar, who hails from Belagavi, joined the judicial service in 1995 and served at many places across the state.

He was the Principal City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru, since September last year.

Justice Venkatesh Naik, from Chitradurga district, joined judicial service in 2012 as a direct district judge. Before his elevation, he was Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru Rural.
