4 Yadadri Congress councillors join Telangana Rashtra Samithi

HYDERABAD: Congress suffered a setback when all the four Yadadri councillors belonging to the party - Gundlapally Vani, G Aruna, M Mallesh and Bittu Saroja - along with Yadagirigutta Congress town president G Bharat Goud joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Saturday.

Party leaders S Srinivas Reddy and Mounika along with mandal parishad territorial constituency member Samala Padmavathi also quit Congress and joined TRS.

They joined in the presence of TRS working president KT Rama Rao and Alair MLA Gongidi Sunitha in Hyderabad.

Yadadri falls under Bhuvangiri Lok Sabha constituency, which is represented by Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.

Saffron leader from Balkonda assembly constituency Gaddam Mohan Reddy and some other leaders joined CM KCR-led TRS in the presence of minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy.
