9,000 to appear for Osmania University PhD entrance

Hyderabad: As many as 9,776 candidates will appear for the PhD entrance tests-2022 which will be conducted by Osmania University between December 1 and 3. The hall tickets can be downloaded from the OU website from November 26.

The online entrance for 47 subjects will be in CBT (Computer-Based Test ) mode and held in centres in Hyderabad, OU vice chancellor Ravinder said at a press meet on Friday.

“Candidates are advised to visit/ascertain their test centre in advance and to report one and half hours before the test,” he said.

The tests will be held in three sessions — 9.30 am to 11 am; 12.30 pm to 2 pm; and 3.30 pm to 5 pm — every day from December 1. Of the total applicants, 841 are for seats under faculty of commerce, 771 for computer science engineering and 723 for PhD in English, among others.
