A gala dinner for boss ladies from around the world in Delhi

From dancing to Despacito and Badhaai Ho’s Morni Banke to exchanging business tips and networking, the attendees at the 12th Annual Awards and Conference of International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Foundation, did it all. The two-day event, hosted by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), concluded with a gala dinner hosted by Harjinder Kaur Talwar, President, FLO, and Global Ambassador of IWEC.

“The conference is all about women empowerment. These are women who are doing very well in their business and are the leading women of their countries. We wanted to recognize them and celebrate their achievements. It is amazing to see how these women from almost 40 countries came to Delhi despite the pollution. They knew what India has in store for them,” said Harjinder. She added, “From ambassadors to royalties from different countries and fashion designers, there are guests from all over the world. It’s amazing to see these top entrepreneurs come together under one roof and enjoy food, music and culture of India.”

The event, themed – Connecting Women Businesses Globally: Leading the Way to Innovation and Integration – saw participation from more than 250 women from 40 countries. Present at the do were Uzbek Ambassador Farhod Arziev, Shovana Narayan , Sharon Lowen , Nasir Abdullah, Suket Dhir and Abha Dalmia, among others.
