CM Eknath Shinde son's 'sanskar' dig at Aaditya Thackeray's 'neech' remark

MUMBAI: The battle of Maharashtra is intensifying day by day, especially between Shiv Sena ( Uddhav Thackeray ) and Shiv Sena ( Eknath Shinde ) fractions.

A day after former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray's son Aditya Thackeray targetted CM Eknath Shinde by calling him 'neech' (low standard), CM Shinde 's son Shrikant Shinde called out Aaditya Thackeray for his "Sanskar (values) given to him by his parents".

Shrikant Shinde said that a person (Aaditya) will talk according to his sanskar.

His parents have given him the same sanskar, that is why he will talk like this. That is why he is stooping to such a low level and making statements.

Shrikant further said, "Despite not being eligible or capable, values are very important to speak like this. We have good values, we have the values of Anand Dighe , Balasaheb Thackeray ji and our parents. That is why we never abuse anyone or use such words".

Shrikant further said that June 4 (Lok Sabha poll result date) will tell them (Thackerays) their worth.

"If they look in the mirror, they will know their worth," he said.

Earlier CM Shinde had taken a dig at Aditya Thackeray, saying the 'royal family' could not digest that a farmer's son, a common labourer become Maharashtra chief minister.
