Consulting firms hog the limelight at IIM-Lucknow

LUCKNOW: Consulting firms -- Accenture, Deloitte India, Boston Consulting Group ( BCG ), Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), and McKinsey and Company emerged as top recruiters at the final placements for the batch of 2021-23 of the Post-Graduate Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L).

The highest domestic salary offer was Rs 55 lakh per annum, a dip of Rs 3 lakh from last year while the highest international salary offer stood at Rs 65 lakh per annum, a rise of Rs 4 lakh from last year.

The placement report shows consulting firm Accenture making highest of 36 offers. With 24 offers, BCG became the second top recruiter at IIM-L. Another consulting firm, Deloitte and PwC made 22 offers each followed by McKinsey & Company that made 18 offers. In all, 632 offers were made for 556 students.

A press communique from IIM-L said, the institute secured 100% placements for the largest batch in the history of its 37-year legacy.

It also achieved the highest ever average CTC of Rs 32.2 lakh per annum.

A sizeable number of prestigious first-time recruiters, including ASK Investment Managers, BDA Partners, Cashfree, Cogoport, IndigoEdge, Lodha Capital, Merisis Advisors, Motilal Oswal, Nykaa, O3 Capital, OfBusiness, Pinpoint, Policy Bazaar, Samagra Governance, Stakeboat Capital, Synergy Capital and United Airlines, on boarded the campus recruitment drive.

Over 200 recruiters participated in the placement process. Top companies which participated in the placements included Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Alvarez & Marsal, Amazon, Arthur D. Little, Atlassian, Avendus Capital, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, EY, Flipkart, HUL, ITC, Kearney, KPMG, Landmark Group, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Mondelez, Navi, PepsiCo, Premji Invest.
