MP's Ashi hits the bull's eye, shoots gold in jr woman's 3P

Bhopal: Ashi Chouksey of Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy won gold medal in the junior women’s 3P, where she defeated Surabhi Bharadwaj Rapole of Telangana 17-9 in the 65th National Shooting Championship Competitions (65th NSCC) in Rifle events at shooting range in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Wednesday.

MP shooters made their strong presence in the championship after winning 4 gold and 2 silver medals.

Ashi won two Gold and one Silver. Aashi won gold in 50m rifle 3p junior women’s singles and Bandhvi Singh won silver in senior women’s civilian singles.

In the National Championship, the academy’s team of Ashi, Sharanya Lakhan and Nupur Kumrawat won the gold medal in the 50m rifle 3p junior women’s team event. Prachi Kaurav , Sharanya Lakhan and Nupur Kumrawat won gold medal in Junior Women Civilian Team event and Academy’s Bandhavi Singh, Manisha Kathait and Nupur Kumrawat representing Senior Women Civilian team won gold medal.

Ashi Chouksey, Sunidhi Chauhan and Bandhvi Singh of the 50m rifle 3p senior women’s team won the silver medal.
