Telangana: Muslim leaders remind K Chandrashekar Rao of unfulfilled vows

Hyderabad: All India Muslim Organisations, on Sunday, organised a round table conference in the city to urge the Telangana government to fulfil promises made to Muslims, before the formation of the state.

The conference was attended by Muslim leaders, scholars and intellectuals who discussed the present situation of minorities in state and drew CM KCR’s attention to his promises which were made to Muslims prior to polls.

“The CM had promised 12% reservation to the Muslim community within four months of forming the government, safeguard Wakf properties and provide judicial power to the Telangana State Waqf Board . But it has been more than eight years and nothing has been done,” said a leader part of the conference.
