Man cheating people posing as saint nabbed

Vadodara: A 42-year-old man, who allegedly duped people by posing as a saint, was arrested by the Manjalpur police on Thursday. The accused, identified as Govindnath Madari, a resident of Atladara, was nabbed on the basis of a tip-off.

The police said that a complaint of cheating was filed against him after he duped a man and escaped with his mobile phone, cash, and silver ornaments. The accused had stolen the valuables from the complainant by diverting his attention under the garb of helping him.
