Modi era akin to Ram Rajya: CM

Indore: Chief minister Mohan Yadav on Monday compared the ‘good governance’ of Narendra Modi’s govt with the ruling and era of Samrat Vikramaditya, Lord Ram and Devi Ahilyabai Holkar and termed Rahul Gandhi as ‘unlucky person’ even for his family for losing their traditional seat of Amethi in 2019.

In a public meeting in Ratlam district’s Tarana tehsil, Yadav said, “We are very fortunate to witness the ongoing Modi Era.

Present generations have not seen the ruling of Samrat Vikramaditya when he had registered victory by defeating enemies. Vikramaditya used to differentiate between truth and lie.”

Yadav said that the same scenario was there in Lord Ram’s Rajya (ruling). “Whoever talks about good governance, they will associate it either with Samrat Vikramaditya, Lord Ram, Maa Ahilyabai Holkar or with Modi govt”, the CM said.

“It’s unfortunate that Congress did what even the Britishers failed in by accepting partition of the country as their first sin” Yadav said, adding that Congress had knelt down before Muslim League by accepting the country’s partition in 1947. “Implementing Article 370 was another sin of Congress” he said, adding apart from getting rid of Article 370, Modi govt has ensured that no riot was reported after 2014 while he has worked to crush terrorism.

Yadav slammed the Congress over the issues including economic survey and inheritance tax. Earlier, Yadav led a roadshow for BJP’s candidate Anil Firojia contesting from Ujjain Lok Sabha seat. TNN
