Post revaluation, Udupi girl tops Karnataka in PU commerce

UDUPI: Sanvi Rao Honnavar, a II PUC commerce student, topped the state by scoring 598/600 after revaluation in the recently held PU exams. She had scored 595 before revaluation. She had scored 100 in five subjects & 95 in English. After revaluation, her English score improved to 98.

As per results announced last week, two students with a score of 596 each had been declared toppers in the commerce stream.
Sanvi is the new topper now.

Known for her dedication, Sanvi has received considerable support from her college. She plans to pursue BCom with CA. Furthermore, she has been a supportive sister to her brother, Samarth, by serving as a scribe for all his exams, including MCom. Samarth is a physically challenged chess champion. She has expressed gratitude to the management and staff of Creative PU College, Karkala, and MPE Central School, Honnavar staff and management. During her class 10 (CBSE) exams, she had secured 96%.

Sanvi is the daughter of Jagadish Rao BS, a retired banker, and Vinutha Bhat, a training officer at ITI. An all-rounder, Sanvi actively participates in various cultural activities such as Bharatanatyam, Hindustani music, drawing, monoacting, anchoring, elocution, and Yakshagana. She is also a Rajya Puraskar guide.
