NEW DELHI: As the curtains fell on India's World Cup journey with a hard-fought loss to Australia in the final, Bollywood luminaries including Ajay Devgn, Suniel Shetty, and Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media to laud the Indian cricket team's unwavering effort throughout the tournament.

Wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul's father-in-law, Shetty congratulated Australia on their win and praised the Indian squad for their "world-class" performance throughout the tournament.
