Narendra Modi has freed country of 8 evils, says Amit Shah in Kashi

VARANASI: Union home minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the past 10-year governance of PM Narendra Modi will be written in golden letters in the pages of history.

Addressing the BJP workers after inaugurating Modi’s election office in Mahmoorganj of Varanasi on Wednesday evening, Shah said, “Ashta Siddhis (eight accomplishments) are mentioned in the religious text Kaal Bhairav Ashtakam to please Lord Kaal Bhairo.

With the blessings of Kaal Bhairav, Modi has freed the country from eight evils of corruption, nepotism, casteism, appeasement, inferiority complex, terrorism, Naxalism and signs of slavery.”

Highlighting the development works done in Varanasi in the last 10 years, the minister said, “If a competition of assessing works done in 542 parliamentary constituencies is conducted no MP will stand a parallel to Modi. During his every Varanasi visit, Modi came with gifts (projects) worth crores of rupees and has transformed the oldest living city into a modern one along with ensuring that its spirituality remains intact.”

Shah said Modi is working hard for the victory of all 542 candidates of NDA and asked every BJP worker to ensure PM’s third victory from Varanasi with a record margin. He said if BJP has to achieve the target of 400 seats then party workers will have to work like Modi and focus on these goals.
