Delhi University VC Internship scheme 2024 to offer Rs 10,500 stipend: Here's the direct link to apply


The Dean of Students Welfare Office at Delhi University has initiated the application process for the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme 2024. Interested individuals can submit their applications before the deadline on May 4, by visit the official website at dsw.du.ac.in.

Participants in this internship programme can expect to work 20 hours per week over the summer.
They will receive a minimum monthly stipend of Rs 10,500, with a 5% increase each fiscal year. It is important to note that students who have previously participated in this programme are not eligible to apply again.

This internship is only available to regular, full-time students enrolled in Delhi University's undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. A genuine student is one who has been officially admitted to an academic programme at the University and has a valid Semester Registration/Identity Card. However, students in their final semester or year are ineligible to apply.

The VCIS summer internship lasts two months, from June to July 2024, and provides students with a comprehensive learning experience. Candidates who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate from the Dean of Students' Welfare.

Internship opportunities exist in a variety of settings, including the Vice Chancellor's office, departmental libraries, examination branches, and more. Furthermore, the scheme seeks to promote inclusivity by offering opportunities through the Equal Opportunity Cell , which caters to visually impaired individuals.

The Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme, which began in 2022, was designed to provide internship opportunities for Delhi University students. The University Student Welfare Fund covers all VCIS-related expenses and stipends.

The scheme aims to accommodate 200 interns across summer and regular internship programmes. Internships are limited to a maximum of six months and cannot be extended under any circumstances after joining.
