Nagaland Board Exam result out: The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) has declared the results for the HSLC and HSSLC Board exams 2024.

Students who had appeared for the exam this year, can now go to the official websites of the Nagaland Board in order to check their scores, at nbsenl.edu.in and nlresults.info.

Student's performance in Nagaland Board Result 2024
This year, 48.55% of enrolled students in government schools passed the 10th grade exam, with males scoring 46.07% and females scoring 50.35%. Private schools had higher success rates, with 86.77% of enrolled students passing, particularly males (84.33%) and females (89.02%). The pass rate for repeaters was lower at 17.57%, with the majority of enrolled students failing to qualify.

In the arts stream for class 12, 13,166 students took the exam, with 5,355 qualifying, including 6,110 females and 316 males, for a pass rate of 83.16%. In the commerce stream, 949 students took the exam out of 929 enrolled, with 586 passing, including 242 females and 4 males, for an overall pass rate of 87.67 percent. Out of 2,521 enrolled students in the science stream, 2,459 took the exam, with 1,585 qualifying, including 453 females and 1 male, for an 80.88% pass rate.

Nagaland Board Results 2024: Who are this year's toppers?This year, from class 10th, Mhachilo Yanthan of Christian Higher Secondary School Dimapur topped with a total marks of 593 securing a percentage of 98.83.

In the class 12th board examination, several students distinguished themselves as top performers across different streams.

In the arts stream, Keletsole Mekro from Dainty Buds School, Kohima, secured the first position with an outstanding score of 487 marks out of 500, translating to an impressive percentage of 97.40%.

In the commerce stream, Satyam Kumar Jaiswal from Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, emerged as the topper, achieving a remarkable score of 492 marks out of 500, resulting in a phenomenal percentage of 98.40%.

Finally, in the science stream, Narola Imsong from Queen Mary Hr. Sec. School, Mokokchung, attained the highest position, scoring an excellent 481 marks out of 500, corresponding to a commendable percentage of 96.20%.

In government schools, 5,419 students were enrolled, with 2,466 passing the exam, for a pass rate of 49.13%.

Private schools had a higher success rate, with 91.15% of the 15,414 enrolled students passing, resulting in 13,617 successful candidates. Among repeaters, there were 20,833 enrolled candidates, and 17,130 passed the exam, yielding a pass percentage of 70.32%. Here's an overview:

In the Arts stream, 11,241 students took the exam, with an 82.62% pass rate, resulting in 9,307 successful candidates.
