Ananya Pandey talks about women fighting each other in the industry: 'I have learned a lot from Deepika Padukone and Bhumi Pednekar...'

Ananya Panday, who was last seen in 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav, got the opportunity to share the screen with one of the big names in Bollywood, like Deepika Padukone, early in her career. In a recent interview, Ananya talked about the popular notion that women within the industry fight each other.


In a chat with Femina, Ananya said that the ongoing talk about women being pitted against each other in the industry is something created by a certain set of people or the media. She found it lucky to share the screen with Deepika Padukone, Bhumi Pednekar, and more in her career at a very early time. She admitted that she could learn a lot from them. She could feel the friendship, warmth while shooting, and they still keep in touch with each other.

She also talked about her friends, actresses Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The trio feel comfortable in their circle, and they love and support each other without such ego. She emphasized that every female actor she had met will always say that the women they’ve encountered in the industry are some of their long good friends. Women within the industry can help each other a lot. According to Ananya, anyone outside the industry never understands this.



On the work front, Ananya is expected to collaborate with Vikramaditya Motwane, and there are reports that she is playing in 'Shankara' with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan. She also has Call Me Bae in her kitty.
