Two years after he was last seen in Pyaate Hudgir Halli Lifeu and Halli Hyda Pyaateg Banda, Aryan Santosh is poised to make a return to television. The actor will once again be hosting a reality show that will go on air this November.
“Reality shows are a format that I’ve come to enjoy, probably after doing Bigg Boss . I like the fact that it feels so close to the audience, and that you can be witness to real-time emotions,” says Santosh. According to him, the yet-to-be-titled reality show is a family programme that tests your brain power and your capacity to make decisions together promptly as a family. “For the first time on Kannada TV, you will see a show that brings your entire family to play a game together. It will unite the family on taking a final call together, which can be a make-or-break decision for them,” says Santosh.
The actor is clearly upbeat and is looking forward to this new stint, which he describes as the perfect package of comedy, fun and sentiment. “Television is giving me such a wide range of audience, something which even a film like Nooru Janmaku didn’t give me. It has given me friends in Mandya and Rayasamudra, which I didn’t have when I was only doing films. Yes, TV is exhausting, but it has definitely helped me reach every nook and cranny of Karnataka and I couldn’t be more grateful for it,” he sums up.
