EXCLUSIVE: Rinku Rajguru's fan moment with Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the Marathi film industry share mutual admiration. Nawaz in a previous interaction with Bombay Times has confessed how he deeply admires Marathi artistes, especially their comic timing. Marathi actors too appreciate Nawaz’s quality to sink his teeth in each character he portrays.

The young Rinku Rajguru, who shot to fame as Archie in Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat, was thrilled to meet her favourite actor at the recently concluded Filmfare Awards Marathi 2024.

“It’s my dream to work with you. You are my favourite actor”, she told Nawaz. The latter reciprocated the affection by stating how he was vocal about how much he appreciated her work in her debut film. “You stood out in Sairat. I remember telling this to people and you have evolved into a fine actor”, said Nawaz. It will be interesting to see this pair on screen in future!
